I'm me, Rob. Heh.

Auckland, New Zealand is my home, writing is what I do.

I'm 29 years old and i've spent the past ten or so years on and off at University, much of it as a student (BA then MA then CoP then GradDip) and the past three working there part time. My job? I work in the audiovisual library surrounded by 10,000 videos, 4,000 dvds and a whole heap of dvd/video players. Bliss. I'm a library assistant which is a glorified term for a desk clerk, woo! That's the job i get paid for, my "real" job is as a writer where I am finally pursuing my dream of writing a novel. I've already finished my first draft and now i'm in the process of rewriting it before i submit my baby to the world.

I'm engaged to Kirsty who i have been madly in love with for nine years! We got engaged in July 2003 on a windswept beach in the Coromandal, we're procrastinating on a date for the wedding because a) we've just bought a house and have no money and b) there's no rush :)

We have two cats: Tinka a psychotic black cat who likes to fall asleep on my laptop and his brother Goldie who needs to knead.

So yeah, that's me :)
